CRAFTING STORIES
Lucy Crichton – SPONSORED by MACMILLAN
This workshop seeks to excite the teacher into a rich and
personal journey of storytelling. As we expand our capacities
for imagination, inspiration and creativity, we will step
deeper into the young learner’s universe. Participants
will learn how to use personal biographies, objects, pieces
of cloth, musical sound and mime to weave some wonderful
tales. As educators we must try to find ways of calming
our students down, giving them a break form their ‘super
stimulated’ worlds. Using the ancient craft of storytelling
and simplicity as our motto, perhaps we can also teach patience,
intuition and relaxation because, as Guy Claxton says, “it
is sometimes more intelligent to be less busy.”
Lucy Crichton is graduated in Classical Theatre and holds
a TEFL certificate from Teacher Training International,
London. She is a teacher, teacher trainer and consultant
for Drama in the EL Classroom. Her latest research includes
Puppetry, Story Telling and new roads towards Personal Development.
O USO DA INTERNET NO ENSINO DA LÍNGUA INGLESA
Carla Fernanda Nolli – SPONSORED by MULTI IDIOMAS
A Internet, cada vez mais utilizada no ensino de inglês,
oferece oportunidades de inserção na comunidade
universal de informação e negociação
de significados em situações reais. Usar a
Internet no ensino de inglês é um desafio que
instiga alunos e professores a mudanças de atitudes,
onde mestres e aprendizes caminham em busca do domínio
habilidoso da informação, desafio para uma
convivência autônoma, interativa e colaborativa,
proposta abordada nesta oficina.
Carla Fernanda Nolli é Mestre em Letras (Inglês
e Literatura Correspondente) pela Universidade Federal de
Santa Catarina.
